GET EDUCATED - Our future freedom depends on it!
Recently, a Townhall.com Blogger wrote what many of us may be thinking: "Obama is a clear and present DANGER to our government and our LIBERTY. If Sam Adams were alive today, he'd be organizing the Sons of Liberty to overthrow the monarchy!!!"
Yet in recent polls, 63% of our fellow Americans seem untroubled by the drastic measures being put forward by President Obama and the majority in the Congress.
Were Paul Revere to ride though our streets today, sounding the alarm, he'd likely be demonized, even by some Conservative and Independents.
We must seize the opportunity to become educated about the direction our nation is headed. At no time in our history is the shift in government from Capitalism to apparent Socialism so threatening. It will take more than blogging or venting in emails to friends and family to effect change to the course we seem to be embarking upon. To be a nation "of the People, by the People and for the People" we must not sit on the sidelines or be silent. We must know the hard facts and be able to recite them to our children, friends and even those who may not share our values.
